| Today we took delivery of 21 new SCOTT X3-Pro air paks with 4500 PSI 30 minute bottles, 2 RIT paks with 4500 PSI 1 hour bottles for rescuing down firefighters.
There is support equipment to make each pak able to communicate with a base system at the command post where they can see which firefighter has which pak and the status of that pak
- air supply remaining
- if the pak is in an emergency mode meaning the firefighter has communicated they are in need of help
- command has the ability to alert the firefighter for evacuation and the firefighter can acknowledge the alert via the pak |
